The College is run by Manasa Trust which runs an exclusive 150 bedded neuropsychiatric hospital, Rehabilitation centre and child guidance clinic. Thus, the course is designed in such a way that lot of scope is given for ‘ample clinical exposure’. The core team involves professors, psychologists, psychiatrists and allied mental health professionals with expertise in their areas.
The two year (4 semesters) regular full time course is affiliated to Kuvempu University with the following specialisations

PEO 1: Graduates will be successful professionals in Psychology and allied fields with proficiency of working in multi-disciplinary fields.

Programme Educational Outcomes ( PEO):
PEO1: To provide advanced theoretical and application based skills to enable the students practice psychology in various areas of profession independently or in teams
PEO2 : To enable students with skills of fundamental and applied psychological research to pursue advanced research
PEO3: To imbibe skills of community service in students to enable them to device community level mental health programs
