DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology degree is an essential qualification for obtaining the license or RCI No. to be appointed as a clinical psychologist in any hospital set up. In the post-Covid scenario the demand for trained clinical psychologists is on the increase.Employment opportunities are ensured. KAPMIAHS, a leading centre for graduate, post-graduate programmes in psychology and clinical psychology. KAPMIAHS started M.Phil.in Clinical Psychology (RCI recognised) programme affiliated to RGUHS.

The admission for 2024-2026 batches will open in September 2024. Collaboration with – Neurology, Psychiatry, Child Counseling, Geriatric, De addiction, Psychotherapy, Behaviour therapy, Marital Therapy – available at Manasa Hospital, Manasadhra rehabilitation Centre, Mukunda Geriatric psycho-social care centre and Manaspoorthi Child Guidance Centre.
Pediatrics, Medicine, Surgery etc., – MOU with Subbaiah Hospital and Medical College
Variety of Clinical population :Psychotherapy, Behavior Therapy, Addiction cases, Family/ Marital therapy

GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION:

Each year the admission will open in Sept-October
Eligibility to apply- MSc Clinical Psychology/ PG in Psychology from recognised university/ institute .
Aspirants will write an email to [email protected] to get the application form.
Application fee is 2000/- which includes fee towards the Entrance Test
Submit the application by post or in person along with copies of documents (2 Pass port size photos, Marks card copies of 10^th, UG AND PG, Aadhar or any Official ID CARD copies )
Entrance examination and interview will be conducted after the scrutiny of the application. The date of entrance exam will be intimated.
Selected candidates will be admitted as per university guidelines.
Academic term will be for two years from January for each batch. (However changes in the date of commencement may happen as per the university notification)

Bring originals of all the documents (10^th marks card, Undergraduate, Graduate and Post Graduate marks cards, Aadhar card, Photo any other supportive documents) for verification when you come to attend the Entrance Exam.
